Advanced Nephrology Fellowship Opportunity
The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Northwell Health's Division of Kidney Diseases and Hypertension at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center are seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Galdi Fellowship in Onco-Nephrology and Glomerular Diseases. This one-year advanced fellowship aims to develop the next generation of international leaders in nephrology.
Training and Expertise
The fellow will receive comprehensive training in glomerular kidney diseases at the prestigious Northwell Health Nephrology Center for Glomerular Diseases. This includes managing complex glomerular disease cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as a rotation at the Division of Rheumatology for intensive training in SLE and ANCA vasculitis.
Onco-Nephrology Training
The fellow will also develop expertise in onco-nephrology, working closely with faculty who are leaders in this field. This includes rotations with inpatient hematology and oncology teams and care for patients with multiple myeloma, renal cell cancer, and bone marrow transplantation.

Requirements and Application
Candidates for the Galdi Fellowship should have completed U.S.-based internal medicine residency training and general nephrology fellowship. We are seeking candidates committed to building on their foundation as a Galdi Fellow to become one of a select few international leaders in glomerular diseases and onco-nephrology.
