About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN to work on a part-time basis, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in long-term care settings, preferably with Med/Surg patients, and be proficient in Pointclick Care (EMR).
Key Responsibilities- Monitor patients throughout their treatment, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs, documenting any changes or concerns.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and ensure patients take their medication correctly.
- Collaborate with doctors, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Liaise with patients' families, keeping them informed about their loved one's progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
- An active NJ state license is required for this position.
- Experience working in Med/Surg or long-term care settings is essential.
- Proficiency in Pointclick Care (EMR) is necessary for this role.
- The salary for this position is $42 per hour, offering a competitive rate for experienced LPNs.
- This is a per diem position, requiring flexibility and availability to work every other weekend.
