We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care to our residents at Regency Healthcare and Rehab Center.



Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to our residents in accordance with their assessment and care plan. This includes assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing incontinent care and assisting with bowel and bladder functions.



Responsibilities



  • Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing incontinent care and assisting with bowel and bladder functions

  • Inform the LPN/Nurse Supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate care can be provided

  • Keep the resident environment clean and free of clutter, including cleaning linen, making beds, and organizing nightstands and over-bed tables

  • Provide residents with vital signs and assist with meal tray setup and feeding, ensuring that all meals, snacks, and fluids are recorded

  • Document resident information on flow sheets as directed and assist in transporting residents to activities and therapy

  • Report all complaints or grievances to the LPN/Nurse Supervisor/Director of Nursing/Administrator or Social Worker and immediately report all incidents/accidents to your LPN/Nurse Supervisor, no matter how minor they may be

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors



Requirements



  • State of Alabama Certified Nursing Assistant

  • Long-term healthcare experience preferred

  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team and react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

  • Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce and maintaining confidentiality

  • Ability to work effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the facility
