Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Applications Developer – SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in software development lifecycle, software design patterns, agile development processes, and secure coding standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software solutions using various programming languages, including Python, Ansible, and Java.
  • Design and implement software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software tests and test-automation suites.
  • Provide software maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly U.S. Government Security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 16 years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and establish professional relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize, with demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
Work Environment

The position will be located onsite at a customer facility in Northern VA/Dulles Corridor. The work environment is a professional office setting with moderate stress and noise levels.

Physical Demands

The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and/or mobility within an office setting. The employee must be able to use hands to complete work at a workstation/computer, be able to reach, type, and manipulate with hands, fingers, and arms; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; talk, see, and hear.
