As a Healthcare Support Specialist, your role will involve assisting residents with their everyday activities while promoting their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver essential care services, including dressing, grooming, and bathing assistance
  • Support residents with mobility and ambulation
  • Provide help with feeding and personal hygiene
  • Conduct environmental tasks such as making beds and changing linens
  • Assist with medical treatments and procedures as directed
  • Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents' health status
  • Ensure a clean and comfortable living space for all residents

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with proficient reading and writing skills.

Experience and Training: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. A sincere interest in elder care and adherence to the facility's values are essential.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and assisting residents during emergency evacuations.
