Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Generative AI Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in assisting UC Irvine in enhancing its research profile, streamlining administrative tasks, and supporting teaching and learning across the campus through the use of Generative AI.
Responsibilities- Apply skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures.
- Resolve a wide range of business process issues of moderate to complex scope involving the opportunities for application of Generative AI and multimodal AI across research, teaching and learning, and administrative use cases.
- Develop and maintain campus communities of practice for Generative AI.
- Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business systems analysis and 1 year of Generative AI and prompt engineering experience using Gen AI technologies such as ChatGPT, Claude, and/or Midjourney.
- Experience working directly with a variety of customers and end-users across skill and leadership levels.
May be required to work after hours, as needed.
