Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT certification and Maine license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CERNER and GE imaging systems
  • Knowledge of CT Arthrography, Drainage, Myelography, and other advanced imaging techniques
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments
