Job Overview

Bridgerland Technical College is seeking a skilled Diesel Repair Substitute Instructor to support student learning in our diesel repair program. As a substitute instructor, you will assist students in understanding fundamental principles of diesel repair and provide guidance on curriculum questions and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with curriculum questions and needs
  • Communicate effectively with students and staff, maintaining discipline in all school settings
  • Maintain accountability of students in classrooms and office areas
  • Adapt equipment and materials to specific learning objectives set by faculty
  • Ensure the safe use of instructional facilities and equipment
  • Perform simple clerical tasks proficiently
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a technical college certificate or higher education, with 5 years or greater of successful related experience in the field of Diesel Mechanics. Experience in education is preferred.
