Job Summary

The Anne Carlsen Center is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing occupational therapy programs for children with developmental disabilities or delays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including occupational therapy sessions and consultations with other professionals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients
  • Document clients' progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and research in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility for licensure
  • 3+ years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy or working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of payment sources and systems related to occupational therapy
  • Experience collaborating with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming
