About the Job:
Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. They actively demonstrate the organization's mission and core values and conduct themselves at all times in a manner consistent with these values. They know and adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety, and medical information.
Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments by collecting and interpreting data.
• Develop a plan of care, which addresses patient problems.
• Communicate with patients, families, and/or significant others, and the multidisciplinary team in the coordination and implementation of patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to implement care appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate care given by other nursing team members.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations of patient's response.
• Identify potential emergency situations and initiate appropriate response.
• Provide patient and family teaching.
• Continuously evaluate and modify the plan of care and teaching plans based on the patient's response.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License. CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• None.
