Job SummaryKey Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and hotel standards.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
  • Prepare food for banquets, Room Service, and Employee Cafeteria, following specifications on Banquet Event Orders.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring prompt service during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • Culinary experience required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to withstand temperature variations and stand for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in cooking techniques such as charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sautéing, braising, roasting, and par-cooking.
  • Knowledge of herbs and spices and proper use of each.
