Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to veterans in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community-based outpatient clinics.
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and provide education to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Successful completion of a Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
- Active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- English language proficiency.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with veterans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of electronic health records and other healthcare software.
