We are collaborating with a manufacturing firm in Indianapolis, IN, in search of candidates who possess experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, interpreting PLC code (not programming), managing high and low voltage systems (480V to 120V), and working with conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and maintain equipment and systems across the facility.
  • Comprehend technical specifications and operational requirements.
  • Ensure the functionality of machinery and mechanical systems by executing preventive maintenance tasks on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
  • Follow:
  • Diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, manufacturer’s guidelines, and engineering specifications.
  • Identify and resolve malfunctions effectively.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
  • Experience in electromechanical troubleshooting (e.g., controls, components, control wiring diagnostics).
  • Familiarity with PLC diagnostics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of robotic control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and replace electrical field devices/components.
  • Strong mechanical understanding, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, motors, bearings, fasteners, and fittings.
