Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the precise selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders.
- Review and evaluate medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential and actual drug-related issues. Suggest formulary alternatives when suitable.
- Compound and dispense medications for accurate patient delivery.
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers as necessary to facilitate patient care.
- Supervise technical staff involved in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
- Assist with educational functions, including serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
- May provide coverage for pharmacy needs as required.
- Deliver patient counseling efficiently and effectively when necessary.

Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Licensed Pharmacist credentialed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Education:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hospital pharmacy
- IV certification
