Position Overview

Under general oversight, this role is accountable for verifying and acquiring all necessary information to ensure reimbursement for services rendered in a clinical environment. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: confirming accurate insurance details, validating eligibility and benefits, securing authorizations, and serving as a financial resource for all clinic-related inquiries. This position also involves assisting with the collection of co-payments and outstanding balances, as well as providing financial counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and/or gather all necessary insurance benefits information for patients.
  • Secure authorizations and referrals as required.
  • Assist in the collection of co-pays and outstanding balances; provide financial counseling when necessary.
  • Act as an insurance resource for clinic personnel; stay informed on all insurance-related matters.
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Coordinate patient appointments in accordance with physician schedules and protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Exhibit the ability to uphold the mission, vision, and patient commitment throughout all interactions.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills; this role necessitates evaluating information and utilizing logic to manage work within scheduling constraints and address urgent requirements promptly.
