Job Opportunity

Job Summary

Achievement Centers for Children is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinical Social Worker to join our Family Support Services Department. This is a part-time or full-time position with a hybrid schedule, allowing for remote work 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to diagnose and address psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide behavioral health counseling and interventions to clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with internal and external service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Facilitate community linkages, outreach, education, advocacy, and networking to enhance behavioral health programming and services.
  • Provide consultation, education, and advocacy services as requested.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client services and progress.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited program.
  • Active licensure in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with mental health challenges or emotional disturbances in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to guide and support best practices standards and clinical care in working with children, youth, adults with disabilities, and their families.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a self-aware, active listening, people-oriented approach.
