Position Overview:

As a Senior Intelligence Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough research, evaluation, and distribution of criminal intelligence data to bolster prevention and response initiatives against terrorism and criminal activities.

You will perform database inquiries and compile findings to address information requests efficiently.

Your role will involve creating intelligence reports and products concerning criminal behavior, terrorism, and suspicious activities, providing insights to management to assist in refining policies, procedures, and resources within the operational center.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of research and analytical methodologies.
  • Experience with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, summarize, interpret, and communicate information and technical data effectively, both orally and in writing; apply critical thinking to diverse data sets; produce logical analyses and recommendations regarding potential trends and outcomes; maintain accurate records; manage multiple priorities; follow instructions; and establish effective working relationships with personnel at all levels.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in government, business, or criminal justice, including analytical experience and training in criminal analysis.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain federal security clearance.
  • Commitment to a specified duration with the operational center and availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Considerations:

  • General knowledge of analytical software applications and tools for producing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based maps, text, tables, graphs, and charts is preferred.

  • Experience in public safety or broad governmental roles is desirable.
