Practice Environment: Our practice encompasses a diverse array of orthopedic subspecialties, including non-operative and operative sports medicine, joint replacement, hand surgery, foot/ankle surgery, and podiatry. We thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, addressing various injuries and conditions. Our hands-on approach is essential due to the nature of orthopedic care.

Work Culture: We prioritize a patient-centered approach, teamwork, adaptability, and efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate smooth patient flow by preparing patients for visits and providing necessary services and education as directed by healthcare providers.
2. Perform administrative tasks to ensure all patient information is current, including maintaining electronic health records.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, reporting any equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, demonstrating care and respect.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
6. Collect and monitor patient data, documenting care in accordance with guidelines.
7. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and recommend operational enhancements.
8. Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain competence in the field.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program (Required)
- 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent within 120 days (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 120 days (Required)

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Frequent walking and standing; occasional bending and reaching.
