Forklift Driver Job Description

This is a full-time, seasonal position that requires operating a large forklift with a negative stage to efficiently move boats to and from racks.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. As a forklift driver at Gordy's Marine, you will be responsible for assisting in minor repairs and upgrades as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the forklift safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
  • Conduct regular checks on the forklift and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • A valid forklift operator's license and a high degree of attention to prevent injury to others.
  • Good attendance record and work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and flexible work schedule Monday – Thursday.
