**Job Description**

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist at UT Health Quitman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results. Your responsibilities will include performing routine and special laboratory procedures, maintaining quality control and assurance, and participating in performance improvement tasks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain quality control and assurance standards
  • Participate in performance improvement tasks and projects
  • Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to ensure smooth operations

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent
