Job Title: Tier 3 Network Architect - Active Top Secret Clearance Required

Location: Onsite daily M-F with flexible hours

Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Specialist to support the Military's network communication system. The Tier 3 Network Architect role is fully onsite Monday through Friday with flexible hours. We need an individual with proficient experience in Juniper, complex network security, and functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support for the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of a complex enterprise network.
  • Lead the development of network documentation, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs).
  • Resolve escalated network and security issues and independently conduct network assessments and vulnerability identification.
  • Work with cross-functional teams for network upgrades, migrations, and deployments, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely program deliverables.
  • Oversee network monitoring, capacity planning, backup, and recovery, and stay current with technology trends to improve service delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering and troubleshooting networks utilizing MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols, switching protocols, VoIP, Multicast protocols, and emerging network technologies.
  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Highly skilled in WAN, BGP, OSPF, GNCIP (Juniper), and SolarWinds.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Active Sec + Certification.
