Oncology Infusion Specialist

Patient care in the Infusion Center involves oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive care. Treatments may also include non-chemotherapy infusions for autoimmune diseases, iron replacement, and blood products. The center has 14 chairs and a Fast Track area with 3 chairs. Nurses work closely with oncology providers to ensure high-quality patient care. The acuity scale is used for staffing purposes. Certification in ONS/ANCC and BLS is required, as well as ACLS. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Regional West operates on a performance-based system, where travelers are expected to meet low, mid, or high performance expectations. If a traveler is not meeting expectations, the contract will be terminated immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and supportive care
