We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at KH Manufacturing - North America. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 480v and 3 phase power distribution systems
- Complete assigned work orders and project work promptly, maintaining a neat and orderly workplace
- Understand and troubleshoot sensor-based systems, such as level controls and temperature controllers
- Repair complex electronic equipment, including programmable controllers and ink jet printers
- Perform all observations and trainings timely as required
- Able to mechanically troubleshoot pneumatic, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems
- Able to read electrical/electronic schematics and drawings
- Able to read PLC code, troubleshoot using PLC software, and program PLC-controlled equipment
- Support Plant Quality Systems
- Perform all work in a safe manner and within all compliance requirements to avoid personal injury
- Journeyman license or 2-year associate's degree in Electrical-PLC or Process Control
- 3 years' experience in Industrial Electricity and Control Systems
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot complex equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- PLC knowledge (especially Allen Bradley), Relay Logic, VFD drives, Process Instrumentation
- English Language Skills – Able to speak, read, write
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including all shifts, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
- Understand NEC as it relates to industrial installations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and productive with minimal supervision
This position requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The successful candidate must be able to work safely and efficiently in this environment.
