Job Overview

Ice Castles LLC is a winter wonderland attraction built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles. We are looking for a skilled Winter Lighting Engineer to join our team and help bring this frozen fantasy to life.

About the Position

The Winter Lighting Engineer will be responsible for designing and installing lighting systems within the ice structures. This includes creating immersive and interactive displays that enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and install lighting systems within the ice structures
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of lighting installation and operation
  • Develop new and innovative lighting ideas to enhance the guest experience

Requirements

  • At least 16 years old
  • Basic Algebra skills
  • Ability to work outside in cold temperatures
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs
  • Positive Attitude and Quick Learner
  • Team Player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Electrical Experience
  • AV Experience
  • Pyrotechnic Experience
  • Experience Using Power Tools
  • Heavy Equipment Operation

Compensation

This is a paid position with an estimated salary range of $25-$40 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
