Home Care Physical Therapist Opportunity

Amedisys is a leading provider of home healthcare services, and we are currently seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at Amedisys, you will play a critical role in helping patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function.
SalaryThe salary for this position is $55.00 to $70.00 hourly, depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets.
Job DescriptionAs a Physical Therapist with Amedisys, your primary responsibility will be to provide interventions, conduct re-examinations (every 30 days, at minimum), modify interventions as necessary, and perform discharge planning. You will also be responsible for helping patients achieve their maximum potential through evidence-based treatments and collaborative care.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful as a Physical Therapist with Amedisys, you must have a current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in. Additionally, you must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). One year related physical therapy experience is preferred, but not required. Current CPR certification is also essential.
