We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Trident Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility in Summerville, SC.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $62,000 - $82,000 per year, based on experience.

About the Role

In this critical care nursing position, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in our progressive care unit. Working closely with medical providers, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients requiring specialized attention.

  • You will monitor vital signs and detect any changes, enabling timely intervention in life-threatening situations.
  • You will respond to emergency situations within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures, and cardiac monitoring as needed.
  • You will manage efficient patient flow, including screening, preparation for exams, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of South Carolina or a Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
Location and Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity at Trident Medical Center, a 435-bed acute-care hospital serving the communities of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.
