Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that support the needs of abused and neglected children.
  • Resource Development: Foster relationships with donors, grantors, and government agencies to secure funding and resources for the agency.
  • Fiscal Management: Ensure effective management of the agency's finances, including budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing.
  • Personnel Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Community Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and the public to promote the agency's mission and goals.
  • Compliance and Accountability: Ensure the agency's compliance with state and national regulations, as well as maintain public accountability and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in administration of a volunteer, nonprofit, or public service agency, with prior supervisory and recruiting experience.
  • Skills: Strong skills in fiscal management, resource development, program planning, public relations, and public speaking.
