We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Framing Specialist to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers, provide personalized framing solutions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Framing and Merchandising: Create custom framing solutions, maintain a high level of quality and accuracy, and ensure a well-merchandised store environment.
- Store Operations: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain a safe and clean store environment, and support shrink and safety programs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with store team members to achieve sales and production goals, and support a positive and inclusive store culture.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
- Physical Demands: Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
- Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, particularly in a customer-facing role.
- Sales and Service Skills: Ability to sell products and services to customers, and provide exceptional customer service.
Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and some outdoor work may be required. The frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
