We are seeking an experienced acute care nurse practitioner to join our cardiothoracic heart surgery program in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program or physician assistant program
- Acute care certification and experience in cardiac surgery or CVICU a plus
- Texas license eligible
- Current American Heart Association BLS and PALS, and/or ACLS provider
- Primarily inpatient care with some outpatient clinical work
