Traffic Engineer (PE) - Signalization DesignWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traffic Engineer to join our client's multi-disciplinary team. This firm provides a comprehensive range of planning, engineering, building, and professional services for community development projects.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and permitting process for traffic signal systems.
- Conduct traffic operations and safety studies to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize traffic forecasting and demand modeling techniques to analyze future traffic patterns.
- Prepare comprehensive traffic impact studies to assess the effects of proposed developments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Prepare clear and concise technical reports and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary project teams, including architects, planners, and construction professionals.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, Florida preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on signalization design.
