Pastry Artist

Hi-Rise Bread Company is seeking a dedicated full-time Pastry Artist to join our dynamic pastry team. As a key member of our kitchen, the Pastry Artist will undertake a variety of essential tasks, with opportunities for increased responsibilities as skills and experience develop:

• Crafting, filling, and embellishing cakes
• Ensuring timely completion of cake orders
• Finishing tarts and other pastries
• Upholding a safe and pristine work environment

We prefer candidates with over a year of relevant experience. Specific duties and compensation will be determined based on expertise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and accurately while maintaining an organized and clean kitchen in our fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn, curiosity, and the initiative to ask questions are essential traits. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for pastry and takes pride in producing high-quality creations. At Hi-Rise, we are expanding, and this role offers the chance to learn and work with chocolates and confections.

Some weekend availability is necessary. This is a full-time, hourly position offering competitive pay (DOE), complimentary staff meals, fresh bread, and regular discounts on all menu items. Employees are eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance after three months of full-time service.
