Responsibilities

  1. Provide bug fixes, enhancements, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) improvements to applications to meet operational requirements.
  2. Develop and modify application source code, in response to new requirements and requests for change.
  3. Develop and deploy software, including in cloud environments.
  4. Integrate externally developed code into core libraries.
  5. Install and configure application software.
  6. Evaluate third party vendors and software partners.
  7. Design and develop Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Program Interfaces (APIs).
  8. Maintain design of software libraries, including the definition of module APIs, code organization, and compliance in coding standards.
  9. Work with the configuration manager to ensure the integration of externally developed software into core software libraries.
  10. Develop, as assigned, a wide range of software to run on the Sponsor's networks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Java, Java Builder.
  • Demonstrated experience with full lifecycle agile software development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with software issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Ability to manage an application that is part of AWS cloud by updating Certs, performing Security Scans, patching Workstations, configuring and Deploying virtual workstations.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

If the candidate does not have a bachelor's degree, they must have (5) additional years of experience.
