We are looking for a qualified Lead Teacher to oversee the daily operations of our 3K and Pre K classrooms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a proven track record of providing high-quality care and instruction to young learners.
**Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the daily operations of the 3K and Pre K classrooms, including classroom management and supervision.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote physical, social, and emotional growth in young learners.
- Prepare and implement activities that foster a love of learning and promote cognitive development.
- Provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum completed Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or currently enrolled in a Master's program for Early Childhood Education.
- Previous 3K/PreK experience strongly preferred.
- Good organization, communication, and writing skills.
- Highly motivated and passionate about working with children.
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Ability to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management.
- Ability to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
- $55,000 to $68,652 per year (over 10 months).
