Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients and supporting the needs of our patients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Offer comfort care and other assistance to patients
  • Transfer patients safely and efficiently
  • Take vital signs and maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Recognize and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through the North Dakota Department of Health (preferred)
  • Registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within three months of employment
  • BLS certification required within three months after hire
Work Environment

This is a night rotation position with a schedule of 11pm-7am, 6 nights on 8 nights off, with every other weekend. The job location is in the 32nd Avenue Building.

Compensation and Benefits
