Mission Data Engineer for F-35 PSC

About the Role

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Mission Data Engineer to join our team at the F-35 Partner Support Center (PSC) in Eglin AFB, Florida.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Electronic Warfare (EW) research and development to support the F-35 PSC mission
  • Develop and test mission data to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems
  • Support EW system programming and reprogramming, and work with EW system engineers to coordinate requirements
  • Prepare validation and verification test plans, and participate in MD configuration control boards
  • Assist with data collection, recording, and post-test analysis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline
  • Three to ten years of experience in an engineering capacity, or actual EW experience may be substituted for the technical degree requirement
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, and make recommendations
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current active Secret security clearance
  • Previous experience in RF integration, EM spectrum management, antenna design, and digital signal processing
  • Knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering
