About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, and residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
  • Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and body part
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician
  • Process and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
  • Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving of equipment and systems
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including ARRT registration or state x-ray license
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
