The Generator Technician is a key member of our team at JLL, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our power generation systems. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our generators to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain power generators to ensure optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external vendors
Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience servicing 8,000kw generators
- EGSA Certification (Preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, controls, and diesel engines/landfill gas
- Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite
