Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a skilled Veterinarian-OCONUS to join our team. As a leading provider of security and threat mitigation services, we offer exciting career opportunities for those passionate about canine security.

As a Veterinarian-OCONUS, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team committed to excellence in the security industry. Your expertise will be essential in caring for the health and wellness of our working dogs, ensuring they are fit for duty and minimizing lost time due to preventable conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine canines for various diseases or injuries and administer the best possible treatment
  • Perform routine, elective, and emergent surgical procedures consistent with Working Dog general practice
  • Research and prescribe preventative strategies to maximize canine fitness for duty
  • Utilize in-house imaging modalities and interpret results
  • Provide veterinary expertise and inspections for facilities used to kennel Working Dog populations

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary degree from an institution accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association
  • Licensed as a veterinarian in a minimum of one U.S. state, with the ability to become licensed in Virginia within 90 days
  • USDA Accredited to issue international health certificates for canines traveling from the U.S
  • U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
  • SECRET level clearance
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a veterinarian
