Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Vallejo, California.

Job Summary:

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the physician. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiation treatments using various equipment and techniques
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • ARRT - Radiography certification
  • RHTT-Therapeutic Radiologic Technology certification
  • OR RHA-Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of radiation therapy principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures

This is a per-diem opportunity with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
