Job Title: MRI Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Abilene, Texas.

About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and coils on the table for scanning
  • Inject contrast media as required
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
