Job Overview

The CNC Equipment Operators at Sentech Services are responsible for managing the operation of CNC machinery and auxiliary equipment, ensuring that parts are washed, inspected, and packaged according to established quality standards. This role also involves mentoring fellow team members regarding operational expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in safety and 5S initiatives, including conducting surveys, audits, and overseeing the safety practices of all team members; adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy work environment.
  • Load, unload, and clean parts; conduct visual inspections to confirm the completion of operations.
  • Utilize measuring instruments as instructed to identify defects.
  • Remove excess material and parting lines from castings as specified in operational documentation.
  • Perform washing, leak testing, assembly, and gauging of parts as directed.
  • Organize accepted parts into designated containers.
  • Document machine operations using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
  • Compile necessary production and quality control documentation.
  • Execute machine-specific Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks.
  • Alert the Machine Technician or Supervisor regarding any machinery issues or material concerns.

Qualifications:
  • Capability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items weighing up to 55 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, performing basic mathematical calculations, and conducting visual inspections.
