Compensation and Benefits

Job Description

This Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation Specialist will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing treatment to patients with physical therapy needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and be proficient in the use of Windows-based programs needed for department functions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, activity level, and medical status
  • Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic exercises and modalities
  • Administer manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and attain established goals
  • Document patient progress in accordance with insurance guidelines
  • Foster interdepartmental communication and collaboration
Required Skills and Qualifications

A graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S. degree is required. Must hold a current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy and have access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher; certified professional or continuing education courses preferred.
