Canopy by Hilton Minneapolis Mill District is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils, and place them in racks for washing
• Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils
• Carry clean dishes and utensils to the cook's line and other storage areas
• Test dishwasher sanitizing levels and adjust standards as needed
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
• Remove trash and garbage and transport it to the dumpster
• Clean and roll/unroll mats
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
• Sweep/mop floors
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine
• Wipe up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
• Notify manager of any issues with the dish machine

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age to operate dishwasher equipment
• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
• A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Canopy by Hilton
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
