About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer - Design and Development at SAIC, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing complex mechanical systems. You will work closely with project managers and engineers to define project requirements and develop comprehensive testing strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our customers.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Liaise with customers to discuss project requirements and provide technical guidance on mechanical system design and implementation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of experience OR Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and three (3) years of experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and developing mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and experience working with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
