Summer Internship Program

Our internship program is designed to provide students with a realistic preview of public accounting work and set them up for success. As an intern, you will receive comprehensive training and be treated like a staff accountant during your time with us.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tax or audit work, including preparing federal and state tax returns, assisting with income tax planning, and researching technical tax issues.
  • Prepare workpapers for financial statement engagements, provide analysis of account balances, and document findings.
  • Work with clients to gain an understanding of their business and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in the preparation of workpapers.
  • Perform research on technical accounting issues and develop proficiency in accounting software programs.
Qualifications
  • Must be working to obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field and be eligible to sit for the CPA Exam.
  • Working knowledge of basic office technology and software (MS Office Suite).
  • High integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to learn accounting-specific software and research tools.
  • Goal-oriented and desire to learn.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical, technical, and problem-solving work.
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
