Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is a vital member of our team, responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples from patients while maintaining a safe and professional environment. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing while following established procedures and protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including demographic data and specimen collection details
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and meet productivity standards
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 4:30pm-8:30pm
Saturday: 7:00am-11:00am
