Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Otolaryngologist to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As an ENT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, including hearing and balance disorders, sinusitis, and head and neck cancers.
- Perform surgical procedures, including endoscopic and microscopic surgeries, to treat various ENT conditions.
- Conduct thorough examinations and take a comprehensive medical history to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, surgery, and other interventions, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Otolaryngology.
- Current medical licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff membership and privileges at OSF HealthCare.
- Eligibility to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multi-specialty group practice.
- Knowledge of and experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
