About the Position

The Small Parcel Warehouse Lead is a key role within the Kenco Group, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse facilities. As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching and guiding a team of warehouse associates to ensure they are meeting their individual daily tasks and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop warehouse associates on standard work processes and procedures
  • Conduct regular observations and provide feedback to improve performance
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation, including shipping and tracking labels
  • Perform daily safety inspections and ensure the facility is inspection-ready at all times
  • Communicate and report any incidents to the supervisor
  • Review and analyze daily production reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Serve as a backup to other warehouse roles as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Licensed forklift operator preferred but not required
