Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at CHI Health Good Samaritan. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Perform various medical procedures, including inserting IV lines and administering medications.
  • Document patient's progress and care in the medical record.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Nebraska or Iowa.
  • 2+ years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
