Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at the Salinas Valley State Prison Psychiatric Inpatient Program in Soledad, Monterey County. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide a range of rehabilitation services, including music therapy, to help patients achieve optimal physical and emotional health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
  • Current licensure or certification in Music Therapy.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation services, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
